چکیده
The potential formation and the size of microgaps at material/dentin interface after various surface modifications a resin-matrix computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) ceramic following artificial aging was investigated. Fifty human third molars were used, CAD/CAM ceramic, Lava Ultimate, resin cement material, Rely X tested. blocks sectioned, each slab luted on tooth using same cement. material modified treatments: Group 1—no treatment (control); 2—hydrofluoric acid (HF) + silane; 3—air abrasion with Al2O3 particles (29 μm); 4—air (53 5—erbium, chromium:yttrium–scandium–gallium–garnet (Er,Cr:YSGG) (2780 nm) laser treatment. specimens submitted to thermocycling (5000 cycles: 5 °C–55 °C) then transversely cut in middle examined scanning electron microscopy (SEM) energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). Larger observed control laser-treated groups, no significant differences (p = 0.452). By contrast, other three groups presented lower microgap formation, some cases, detected. Air-abrasion exhibited lowest < 0.05). Different adhesive aging, implying bond strengths among groups. pretreatments more beneficial results regarding formation.

متن کاملFractography of clinically fractured, implant-supported dental computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing crowns
Today, a substantial part of the dental crown production uses computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology. A recent step in restorative dentistry is the replacement of natural tooth structure with pre-polymerized and machined resin-based methacrylic polymers. Recently, a new CAD/CAM composite was launched for the crown indication in the load-bearing area, but the...
